Two CV posters made during CVD Poster Craft, an experimental-poster course — a resume rewritten as typography instead of bullet points.
CVD Poster Craft is an author-led course on contemporary, experimental poster design, run by the designer Vanya Pogorelov (@vanok.regular), and the brief I set myself was to turn a CV into a poster — to talk about who I am using layout instead of bullet points. The result is two dense black-and-white sheets, all ink-blot shapes, hand-drawn squiggles and type wrestling for space.
The content is genuinely autobiographical, just disguised as graphic noise: a NELLIKA wordmark, columns headed products and posters, a checklist reading make the complex simple / increase metrics / loved by users / #healthcare #ai #fintech — the product-designer half of me — colliding with hand-lettered slogans like "lazy language club, where learning is joyful."
Using the poster format as a self-portrait is a strange exercise: you end up designing your own personality, deciding which parts get the big type. These two are the answer I arrived at on the course.
