Intercontinental Bienal

Poster
A small selection of posters shown together — less a single statement than a quick tour of how many directions a poster can take, gestural and grimy in one frame, surgical and multilingual in the next.
Less a single statement than a quick tour of how many directions a poster can take — a small selection shown together rather than one image.
The works span a deliberately wide range. Two raw black brushstroke posters — "Edinburgh Science Festival" and a "Good Readers Club" piece with a giant red R — sit alongside denser, more controlled work: the orange-and-black "food future" poster set in Kannada script, a pink machine-flecked composition, a heavily distorted black-type piece.
Seen together they're gestural and grimy in one frame, surgical and multilingual in the next. The selection represented Georgia in the 2025 Intercontinental Bienal, a travelling biennial that gathers work from across every continent.
