A picture of the Karpman Drama Triangle, designed to hang in a psychologist's office — a mirror for the roles people swap without noticing.

A picture of the Karpman Drama Triangle, the psychological loop where people keep swapping the roles of Victim, Rescuer and Persecutor without noticing they're doing it. It's made to hang in a psychologist's office and do quiet work.

The triangle is three faces — pink, gold and blue — melted and fused at the centre, with the role names running along the edges in tall narrow letters. The faces aren't flat icons but glossy, almost liquid 3D forms sliding into one another, so it's hard to tell where one role ends and the next begins, which is rather the point. Sharp black typography breaks apart and tumbles off the white background, and small arrows mark the "exits" toward healthier ground.

Less a diagram to admire than a mirror you catch yourself in.
