Zerkalo Market — Ecuador Poster Bienal 2024

Poster
On stopping a passer-by mid-stride and making chaos legible — the Zerkalo Market poster, a shattered-glass treatment that's a quiet pun on the name (zerkalo means mirror).
The poster for Zerkalo Market, a creative market in Tbilisi, and the job a market poster has to do: stop a passer-by mid-stride and make the chaos legible at the same time.
The design is a busy mosaic of sharp triangles and fragments in primary colours exploding across white, with "MAR(ket)" cracking apart through the middle and the practical details — address, hours, date, a QR code — set in clean reversed type. The broken-glass treatment is a quiet pun on the name: zerkalo means mirror, so the poster looks like a reflection that's just been dropped.
The fracture does exactly that work. It was chosen for the Ecuador Poster Biennial 2024, an international competition paired with a congress on visual communication.
